When Tom and Kelly found their rainforest block in the Glass House Mountains, they had a clear vision: a classic Queenslander cottage showcasing those incredible views. The challenge was flood requirements meant the house had to sit 3 metres off the ground, and every dollar mattered for this young family.
We designed a custom home within budget, staying flexible when they wanted changes during the build. What we built was a country cottage where the rainforest view hits you from the front door. The open-plan living area features high ceilings and large sliding windows connecting the beautiful surroundings to everyday family life.
The whole process came down to communication and trust. Tom would drop by for regular walkthroughs, and we made sure every question was answered.
